Salt Lake City Library Engagement photography with Oxana and Gale

Hi everyone!

Let’s all give it up for one of the happiest couples I’ve ever seen.  Here is Gale and Oxana.

Oxana told me all about how Gale and her met. They  were setup on a blind date by mutual friends. The coolest thing about that is they are having one of these friends serve as officiant at their ceremony.  Seriously Special!!

Loving couple at SLC Library

She also filled me in on the proposal.

On their one year anniversary, they went to Midway, UT for a getaway weekend.  Over champagne they shared their feelings and shared desire to start planning a life together.

Sweet and Romantic

Their wedding date is set for May 3. They will be getting married at the beautiful Tuscany, and their reception after.  They are also going to be adding a couple of Moldovan Traditions.   They’re not just excited about the details, though. They’re also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!

You’ll see what I mean when you see the photos.

Oxana and Gale loved the feel of the Salt Lake City Library,  with its architecture and amazing windows.  It is perfect to get the winter window light.

After the Library, we walked over to Salt Lake City, City Hall.  The history and feel to the locations was a beautiful background for their engagement session.

Tibble Fork Snowy Family Photography with the Ellis Family

Sometimes as a photographer you get ask by other photographer to take their family photos.  I was so honored to take the Ellis family pictures.  Heather is the owner of Heather Ellis Photography.  She has amazing work and I am so glad to work with her.

We decided to go up to Tibble Fork Reservoir.  It is so beautiful this time of year.  Even though it was early spring it was still snowy every where and  covered the mountains.  But it was a beautiful day.

Cason is the cutest red head around.  He loves his skylander, and I am sure at 4 years old can beat me at the game easily!!

This was one of my favorite parts of the whole session.  Mr Cason couldn’t wait to be swung by his parent.  But you can see the joy in his face.  But don’t forget to look at the parents too, they are having just as much fun!!

The topic of discussion for today is none other than the Paxton children, a super fun clan from Mapleton, utah. If the names or faces look familiar to you, it’s because I’ve photographed this family before many times.  When I mean many times, it is because is my baby sister.  She has finally moved back from way to far away and now I get to take them beautiful kids once and again.

We have Baby Tucker. Tucker isn’t a baby so much now.  He just turned one.  I love doing one year old pictures.

Next we have Miss Kenadee.  She is turning 6.  I have been with this girl, photographing her since she was a newborn.  I would have to go to the archives to pull out her newborn pictures.  Its amazing to see how my photography has grown over the years.  She looks so grown up and has such a cute personality.  I remember when she was a baby she use to scowl at me and now you can’t get her to stop smiling.    Here is a few of the beautiful Kenadee
